Run and walk for Good Beginnings

Celebrate Cinco de Mayo by running or walking in the 2012 Born to Run 5K being held in Cornish, New Hampshire. Sponsored by Good Beginnings of Sullivan County, Born to Run raises funds for prenatal and child health services for local women and children.

The 5K (3.1-mile) course begins and ends at the Old Town Hall at the Cornish Fairgrounds and “features scenic dirt and tar roads and a mother of a hill!” according to the announcement.

  • Date: Saturday, May 5
  • Start location: Cornish Town Hall on Townhouse Road
  • Start times: Kids’ Fun Run at 9:30 a.m. and 5K race at 10 a.m.
  • Registration: Sign up by April 20 and receive a free t-shirt.
  • Walkers are welcome and dogs on leashes are allowed.
  • Fun for all: prizes, music, food and raffles
