Marshmallow mania, a Peeps diorama contest, is coming to the Library Arts Center in Newport, New Hampshire.
Similar contests have swept the nation for nearly a decade, with popular competitions hosted by urban news publications, such as the Washington Post, the Twin Cities Pioneer Press and the Denver Post.
The Arts Center’s contest, however, is the first of its kind in the Dartmouth-Lake Sunapee region.
“It is exciting to bring a Peeps Diorama Contest to New Hampshire,” says Arts Center Executive Director Kate Niboli.
Colorful confectioneries to build three-dimensional scenes makes a sweet combination. Using Peeps marshmallow candies, contestants will create their own, unique dioramas.
There is no entry fee. All are welcome to take part.
