Library Arts Center Announces Regional Show

If Wishes Were Horses - collagraph print with stencil - by Sheryl Trainor will be on display at the Juried Regional Exhibit at the Library Arts Center in Newport from April 30 to June 10.

The Library Arts Center will open its 2011 Juried Regional Exhibit with a reception on Friday, April 29 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Center’s gallery at 58 North Main Street in Newport. The show will be on display April 30 to June 10 and feature 64 pieces of artwork by 42 artists said Kate Niboli, the LAC executive director.

Four of the 42 artists participating in this exhibit are from Sunapee:  Deborah Ann Bacon, Charlotte Carlson, Bruce Jennings and Hal Shukovsky.

Jurors Betsy Derrick and Robert J. O’Brien selected the artwork on display from over 100 entries brought for consideration.

The Library Arts Center gallery is open to the public free of charge. Hours: Tuesday – Saturday, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Phone: 603-863-3040
