Explore Newbury via Indian trails, roads and railroads

We Remember Newbury (New Hampshire) is all about capturing the character and events of Newbury’s past and recording these accounts for the local historical society’s archives. The third program in the  series is coming up on Sunday, May 1 at 2 p.m. in the Newbury town office meeting room, and it’s about Indian trails, roads and railroads.

The guest speakers will include Frank Perrotta bringing the old Indian trails to life; local historian and author Jack Noon discussing the early roads and highways; and Dane Malcolm sharing his enthusiasm for the era of the trains that brought the outside world to Newbury’s doorstep and helped shape the character and development of the town.

Join in. You’ll be invited to share insights and memories of how these events affected you (or your family’s) lives.

We Remember Newbury is sponsored by the Newbury Historical Society.
