Sunapee Rec Plans Easter Egg Hunt

Sunapee’s annual Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by town recreation department will be held Saturday, April 3 at Veteran’s Field (or at the Sherburne Gym if the weather is bad.) The hunt starts promptly at 10:30 a.m. and is for children ages 8 and younger. Rec Director Scott Blewitt said there will be 2000 eggs all filled with toys and extra special eggs, too. Please, remember to bring your own basket.

Other news: The rec department is planning a color Summer/Fall 2010 brochure–5000 copies– that will be mailed to all residents in Sunapee and Georges Mills and made available at local businesses  Advertising space is available; a business size ad cost $75. The deadline for ad copy is April 1. Advertisers are asked to send a digital image to Scott Blewitt at: and checks are payable to Sunapee Recreation, (23 Edgemont Road, Sunapee, NH 03782.)

A benefit dinner will be held at the Double Diamond Cafe, Route 103, Sunapee for the Lynne Peirce Memorial Playground being planned for the Harry Tilton Park in Sunapee. The dinner will on Saturday, April 10. Read more…
