Acoustic Rock, Soulful Folk, Sferes & White in Sunapee Sept. 18

The musical duo Sferes & White will perform at the Sunapee Community Coffeehouse on Friday night, September 18 from 7 to 9 pm.

The Sunapee Community Coffeehouse returned last week after taking a summer break. Music is now scheduled for every Friday evening at its regular venue, the Sunapee Methodist Church on Lower Main Street, located at the the corner of Main Street and Route 11. The last Friday of the month is open mic.

For the last seven years, Jimmy Sferes & Jennifer White have been performing together professionally. They’ve appeared on Garrison Keillor’s nationally syndicated NPR program “A Prairie Home Companion” as well as the Hallmark Channel’s New Morning TV Show. In 2005 they released in a debut CD “The View from Here” and in March 2008, “Where Do We Go From Here”  described as: “A passionate love affair between acoustic rock and soulful folk, blending intricate guitar work, luscious harmonies, and thought-provoking lyrics.”

The Coffeehouse does not have a cover charge, however does pass the hat for the musicians and seeks sponsors and donations to defray expenses. For bookings, contact John Sullivan at john@teamjsla.com. For more information, email: info@sunapeecoffeehouse.org
