Back to School

In Sunapee, school was back in session August 26. For school district info, a school calendar, and bus routes, visit http://www.sunapee.k12.nh.us/. Sunapee is entering its second school year governed by its own School Administrative Unit, SAU 85. The Sunapee SAU office (phone 603-763-4627/email), is located at Sunapee Harbor at 68 Main Street and open daily from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The school board meets the first Wednesday of the month at the Sunapee Middle High, North Road, in the media room starting at 7 p.m.

Students attending the Kearsarge Regional School return to class August 31. Seven towns are in the Kearsarge district, SAU 65, which is governed by a regional school board with nine  members. SAU 65 consists of Bradford, Newbury, New London, Springfield, Warner and Wilmot.

The first day of school for Newport students was Thursday, August 27. Info about the Newport school district, SAU 43, is available at  http://www.newport.k12.nh.us/. Representatives from Newport and Croydon are on the school board governing SAU 43.
