Booksigning at Sunapee Historical Society Museum Aug. 9. And so much more!

It’s all happening today! Sunapee Harbor is buzzin’ with activities! Sunday, August 9 is the lake protective association’s Love Your Lakes Day. Also, the antique boat parade on Lake Sunapee is today with boats on display in the harbor, as well. Then, this afternoon, at the Sunapee Historical Society Museum, a special program follows the historical society’s annual meeting. Babe Sargent and Ron Garceau will present Wild Goose Waters from Above, a new coffee table book published by SooNipi Publishing. “It’s a trip back in time to Lake Sunapee in the 1950’s,” according to Garceau. The book is filled with aerial photographs from that time period. The program starts at 3:30 p.m. at the musuem at Sunapee Harbor, and a book signing will follow. The SHS annual meeting starts at 3 p.m.
