Sunapee. N.H. – The Annual Sunapee Middle High School Art Show will be on display for a week with the opening reception on Thursday, May 22, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. The public is invited to attend.
The show, which will be in the school’s Common area, will include a wide array of artwork from students in grades 6-12, but will highlight the work of seniors.
Both two and three-dimensional pieces will be shown, with the work of underclassmen grouped together in the center and seniors encircling the room with individual sections.
The exhibit will feature not only conceptual development pieces but also the expressive output of individual ideas and imaginations, said Gail Baade, the SMHS art teacher. One will see references to the elements and principles of art, art history, whimsical art and nature.
