The 9th Annual Lake Sunapee Chowder Challenge to benefit children’s programs at the Sunapee Elementary School is today–Sunday, September 27 from noon to 3 pm at Sunapee Harbor. The event is sponsored by the Sunapee Parent Teacher Organization (SPTO) and the Lake Sunapee Region Chamber of Commerce. And despite the weather forecast, the event promises to serve up an afternoon of delicious family fun. There will be a raffle, activities and music. And, of course, there’s lots of hot soup and chowder to enjoy. Mmmm-good! One then votes on the best chowder.
Tickets are $10 per person, no-charge for children age 12 and under. The Chowder Challenge website lists this year’s participants:
