“Here’s the sunrise this morning with clouds frosting Mount Kearsarge,” wrote Barbara Chalmers, Sunapee.
From across the waters of Lake Sunapee, Mount Keasarge rises in the distance. Kearsarge is a monadnock, one of twelve mountains in New Hampshire with a prominence over 2,000 feet.
