The Library Arts Center in Newport has drawn up a creative Spring Term of art classes for all ages–adults and children. The first of two sessions starts March 16 and has a March 13 deadline for registration.
Susan Parmenter, Sunapee, will be teaching two course for adults: Drawing for Beginners and Painting the Natural Landscape. The four-week drawing class starts March 16th. The painting class, also four-weeks in duration, starts Monday, April 13, at the start of LAC’s 2nd session.
Other adult classes are:
- Open Studio Oil Painting – Heidi Lorenz, instructor
- Life Drawing – Heidi Lorenz, instructor
- Ancient Clay Techniques – Erin Mile, instructor
- Open Studio Adult Art Group – Thor Carlson, instructor
Teenagers can enroll in adult classes.
Also there are programs for children–art and craft classes in clay, drawing and painting, and paper-making.
