The Newport Opera House Association will present The Dining Room, a comic sketch of American life, on Friday, January 30 and Saturday, January 31 at 8 p.m.
Charles H. Massey will be directing. And some familiar faces (and some Sunapee residents) make up the cast: Tom DeMille, Joseph Reidy, David Bailey, Mal McLaughlin, Meg Cowan and Ellen Wassell. These six actors portray 57 characters! as they gather around the family dining room table.
Members of the production crew include Laura Thompson as Assistant Director, Francetta Raymond as Stage Manager, David Hoyt as Technical Director, Deborah Barton as Costumer, Charles H. Massey as Set Designer, Keith Carry as Lighting Designer, Ted Niboli and Wynne DeMille as Prop Masters and Poster Design by Robert Bailey. The production is sponsored by William B. Ruger, Jr.
