The town of New London has been using processed glass aggregate (PGA) for many years and they are a host town for the NRRA’s PGA program. Richard Lee, director of Public Works has used PGA as sub-base material for roadways and side walks. In 2008, they will be building a new round-about with a minimum of 6 inches of PGA. We will travel to the construction site and learn about other uses for this “new” construction material.
